A Kiss

“I looked up at his chiseled face. He ran his hand on my wet hair and extended a kiss. As his lips brushed against mine, my eyes closed. Instantly. I was transported. He had the taste of sand and sunburnt skin. His breath was intoxicating. His touch held the overwhelming warmth of a hot day and the shivers of a cold, dry night in the desert.”

An excerpt from Unveiled – a novel in the making – by Hailie Andersen.

  1. Loads of passion in this. I love the mix of sensory impressions – very poetic – “He had the taste of sand and sunburnt skin.”

    1. As I wrote, I was inspired by a medley of gorgeous men I have met, and by one in particular. He was sitting next to me as I typed this text on the train ^^ – a perfect gorgeous stranger, best muse ever. Thank you for your kind feedback D.. I am delighted you can sense the passion in my words.
