Calm, soothing waves,
Washing on the shore.
Quiet rhythm, shaken
By a boat sailing at large.
Peaceful contemplation
Of a life-tight, natural element.
I am attracted. Irresistibly.
Drawn in. I don’t want to fight it.
I am giving in. I am shedding off
My clothes, layer after layer.
I am unbound. Liberated
From the grasp of social life –
Conventions.
I let my feet dip in the liquid matter.
One. Two. One step after another,
I feel the enveloping body relieving
My heavy flesh of its weigh, eased
From its own prospect. Untied, free to express
Its moves. Unburdened by forethought.
Merging with its environment. Reacting
As one. Swimming. Navigating. Free to feel.
Light yet overwhelmed.
Surrounded by softness.
Untouched yet nurtured.
Caressed. Floating. Liberated.
